Orford Countryside
There’s nothing better than jumping in muddy puddles, especially when Imogen has chosen the clothes she wants to wear which include a skirt that got soaked in water!
Exploring the fields in the surrounding Orford countryside.
Discovering a row of hay bales, perfect for climbing on…
Finding a small branch of green leaves under a large tree.
It’s the simple things in life that bring so much pleasure. We just love being surrounded by nature and getting out into the great outdoors. And then cosying up back at home.

Nothing beats jumping in muddy puddles
So much fun, especially the bigger the splash!
Simple pleasures. I sometimes forget that something which is old mill to me, is brand new to the children. Love rediscovering through their eyes.
I agree, it is like experiencing everything all over again x
Love her wellies! Lovely photos.
Gruffalo wellies! We looked for him in the forest too, but to no avail! x
Muddy puddles are what wellies are made for! I love the fact that Imogen chose to dress up for her messy play, great photos of all the family enjoying natures playground. Thanks for linking up and sharing with Country Kids.
At present her ‘dancing’ skirt is all she will wear! I love the stubbornness of a 2 and a half year old!
We have just moved ot the countryside and you are so right, it is the simple things that make a difference. Mich x
Enjoy having the countryside on your doorstep 🙂
I very much agree that a walk in the countryside – as you show – is a perfect outing for kids.

Aww she just looks adorable and it seems you all had a wonderful time. My post features an interesting outfit for POD, it poured with rain! Lots of puddles though 🙂
POD is so gorgeous! Popping over now to have a look 🙂 x
Lovely countryside pictures. Kids love bales – N’s obsessed with them (must be the 2 1/2 yo stage!)
Oh yes! Anything they can climb on that’s up high is a world of fun 🙂
