Autumn Leaves
London is an amazing city to explore and have fun in with children. There are so many parks to visit, fantastic playgrounds, great soft play areas and wonderful museums.
But it really is the little things that can bring so much joy. The highlight of our outdoor adventures this week has been playing with and collecting the beautifully coloured autumn leaves that have fallen off the trees. Imogen finds a fountain to race them in!
Taking them to the starting point…
Dropping them in…
Down they come!
Running back with a fresh batch of fallen autumn leaves.
Giving them a push in the right direction.

Fish Pie
I made my quick and healthy Simple Fish Pie last night and it was devoured in no time!
A delicious and hearty meal for toddlers, children and the whole family.
Spaghetti with the Yeti Children’s Book Review
Egmont kindly sent us a copy of the book Spaghetti with the Yetiby Adam and Charlotte Guillain. It’s a hilarious, rhyming romp of a picture book which follows the young explorer George, on his quest to find the Yeti . . . and eat some spaghetti with him.
This children’s book is vibrantly illustrated by Lee Wildish who won the Red House Children’s Book Award 2012. This book is the first in a series which sees George embarking on adventures to eat a variety of different things with some very interesting characters!
The bright illustrations are thoroughly engaging.
Spaghetti with the Yeti that takes you on a wild story from the beginning to the end.
