Chilham Manor
We spent a lovely day out in the village of Chilham between Ashford and Canterbury in the county of Kent. The grounds of Chilham Castle were open for visitors to view the outside of the spectacular manor house and its beautiful gardens.
A delightful country lane in the centre of Chilham village.
A beautiful house with so much history.
Chilham manor house is absolutely stunning and is set in a picturesque setting.
The perfectly manicured lawns complete with topiary overlooking fields of sheep and the rolling Kent countryside.

Family Day Out at Rare Breeds Farm
We had a great family day out at Rare Breeds Farm in Kent for Ilya’s 3rd Birthday celebration. Ilya is Imogen’s cousin and he is such a charming, gentle and fun little boy. Imogen was so excited to see him and they spent the day viewing the farm animals, enjoying a special Birthday party lunch, watching butterflies in the Butterfly Tunnel, playing in the playground and going for a ride in the tractor trailer seated on hay bales.
Imogen and Ilya adore one another and shared their delight of being on the farm. Holding hands they chattered and giggled as they ran around in the sunshine.
Mummy pig and her little piglets.
It was wonderful for Imogen to play with her cousin for an entire day!
A very friendly rabbit in the petting area. There were also guinea pigs and chickens.

We all enjoyed the amazing playground at the farm.
Spinning on the colourful roundabout. I love the mirroring of their hands on their knees!
We had a super day at Rare Breeds Farm. A big thank you to Kristina and family for organising such a special day for everyone.
Sunflowers in the Garden
At the start of the Summer we joined the #KidsGrowWild Challenge and were sent a lovely Little Pals Garden Kit. Imogen had great fun preparing the flower pots and planting the seeds. We then waited patiently to see what would grow in our city garden.
For the last few weeks we’ve enjoyed wild flowers and a beautiful Sunflower. With Imogen’s consistent watering and care the flowers have grown and flourished daily.
I couldn’t resist taking some photos of our beautiful garden of flowers grown from seed.
We have a very proud little gardener. What can we grow in our city garden this Winter?
