Study Finds Vitabiotics Pregnacare Conception Improves Chance of Pregnancy
It was reported in the The Telegraph on 2 December 2011 that Vitabiotics Pregnacare Conception tablets may improve the chance of pregnancy in women undergoing fertility treatment.
Findings showed women were twice as likely to conceive when taking Vitabiotics Pregnacare Conception tablets, as opposed to just taking the recommended dose of folic acid.
The study involved 56 women attending University College London and the Royal Free Hospital fertility units.
The findings are published in the Reproductive Biomedicine Online Journal.
I personally used Vitabiotics Pregnacare Conception tablets when we were trying to conceive, you can read more here… Trying for a Baby?
Mummy To Be
Expecting a baby is a truly exhilarating time. As a Mummy To Be I felt happiness, nervousness and great curiosity.
Each day that passed brought me one day closer to being a Mummy and holding my precious baby in my arms.
If it’s your first baby I’m sure you’ll have lots of questions and thoughts running through your mind, just as I did when I was pregnant.
I became a first time Mummy to our beautiful baby girl in 2011 and being a Mummy is absolutely the best thing in the world.
My advice to help make your journey through pregnancy relaxing, healthy and fun:
Organic Babies Mum and Baby Rescue Balm
Green People kindly sent a sample of Organic Babies Mum and Baby Rescue Balm for my baby and I to try. We’ve been using this balm for 2 weeks now with excellent results.
In cold weather I develop eczema on my hands which leads to very dry and itchy, red skin. I’ve been massaging Mum and Baby Rescue Balm on my hands every evening before bed and found in 3 days my skin was feeling less dry and itchy and my hands looked smoother. My eczema has now cleared up on my hands and I have soft skin again which I’m very happy about!
My baby’s knees have been rough and red since she started crawling. I’ve found rubbing a little Mum and Baby Rescue Balm on her knees after her bath has soothed her skin and softened the rough patches. She also suffers from eczema occasionally in the folds of her skin so I’ve been using this balm sparingly around her chin, on her elbows and in the creases of her legs. It’s kept her skin well moisturised and has helped to prevent dry skin which can lead to eczema.
As the weather’s getting warmer I’ve started using Organic Babies Mum and Baby Rescue Balm on my elbows and heels to moisturise my skin which has become dry over the winter. I’ve discovered it’s also lovely used as a lip balm!
Instead of carrying several items in your baby changing bag you only need to take Organic Babies Mum and Baby Rescue Balm for both you and your baby!
Mum & Baby Rescue Balm is great if you’re pregnant as it can be used for perineum massage prior to giving birth to help prevent tearing. And for nursing mothers it’s safe to use on sore nipples before, during and after breastfeeding.
This amazing balm contains 95.9% certified organic ingredients and is made from the key ingredients of Hemp, Shea Butter and Calendula to moisturise and soften skin.
What I love most about this balm is that it’s gentle enough for both myself and my baby to use and is free from Parabens, Lanolin, phthalates, artificial perfumes, petrochemicals and colourants.
There’s a great range of Green People Organic Babies and Children Products for all your baby needs including bath products, nappy cream, sunscreen, toothpaste, shampoo, massage oil, moisturiser and lotions.
