The Best Baby Cups

| June 13, 2012

When it’s time for weaning, whether from the breast or the bottle, you want the best baby cups to allow your baby to learn how to hold a cup and drink from it themselves.

It’s so wonderful to see how much pleasure your baby gets from having the independence of holding a cup and drinking from it.

This is such an achievement and marks another milestone in your baby’s development.

We tried many cups including the Doidy Cup, the Tommee Tippee Essentials First Cup and the Tommee Tippee Tip It Up Cup.

It’s the Tommee Tippee Tip It Up Cup that our baby took to immediately.

She drinks her water and milk from these cups. We have all 3 colours and mix and match the cup with the handles to create fun new colour combinations each day.

The Tommee Tippee Tip It Up Cup has a soft silicone spout for drinking from that’s spill proof.

It’s BPA free and suitable from 4 months.

East Coast Multi Height Highchair

Imogen in her East Coast Multi Height Highchair

There are plenty of highchairs to choose from.

I was looking for a highchair that looked good, had a simple and sturdy design, was made from solid wood and had a large tray table.

And I wanted a highchair that would convert into a chair so we could use it at the table when my baby no longer needed to use the highchair.

After much research I bought the East Coast Multi Height Highchair and I’m extremely happy with my decision.

I also bought the East Coast Highchair Insert in Watermelon which provides padding for young babies from 6 months of age. This can easily be removed when your baby no longer needs padding with the chair.

The East Coast Multi Height Highchair looks fantastic in our kitchen diner and Imogen loves it.

As it’s made from solid wood it is very stable and easy to wipe clean.

Features of the highchair:

  • Detachable tray and full safety harness
  • Adjustable seat and footrest
  • 3 height positions for the highchair mode
  • Junior chair mode has 11 positions
  • Made with solid rubber wood
  • Conforms to BSEN 14988

The Best Baby Changing Bag

| March 16, 2012

A changing bag is an absolute necessity when you have a baby.

Being able to easily carry nappies, wipes, nappy bags, bottles, formula, food, a change of clothes, hand sanitiser, pram blanket, a coat or cardigan in case the weather changes, sun hat, baby shoes…

I also use our changing bag to carry essentials for myself such as keys, phone, purse and lip gloss.

If you’re looking for the best baby changing bag, that’s functional and stylish you will find it with a Babymel Changing Bag.

BabyMel Big Slouchy Changing Bag

One of the best things about the Babymel Changing Bag is its unique and patent pending strollerstrap design which allows you to attach the changing bag to your pram or pushchair or buggy without it coming undone or slipping down the frame of the pram.

Babymel Changing Bags come with a matching changing mat which fits neatly in one of the interior pockets of the changing bag. There’s also an insulated bottle bag for keeping a bottle warm in winter or cool in summer, with interior or exterior pockets for carrying your baby’s bottles in.

I can’t go anywhere without my Babymel Changing Bag!
