Chicco London Best Baby Pushchair

| June 15, 2012

Chicco London Pushchair

The Chicco London Pushchair has flown across the world with us from London to Auckland in New Zealand. It is truly brilliant! You won’t go wrong with this pushchair if you want a lightweight yet sturdy pushchair for travelling and everyday use.

One thing we needed for our first overseas holiday with baby was a travel friendly pushchair. This was going to be our first flight with our baby to Brittany in France.

My husband and I searched shops and online retailers for the best baby pushchair, wanting a pushchair that was lightweight, had all the essentials and a compact umbrella fold for travelling on aeroplanes.

After plenty of research we decided on the Chicco London Pushchair.

Even the budget airline we flew with allowed us to fold the pushchair with the footmuff still attached, saving us additional space in our already bulging suitcase!

The Chicco London Pushchair comes complete with a beautifully soft, fleece lined footmuff which zips easily to the seat cover and a fully protective raincover. The seat has four positions that you can change easily using one hand and fully reclines so your baby or toddler can lie almost flat for sleeping.

Travelling with the Chicco London Pushchair in France

There’s a shopping basket under the pushchair seat which holds a generous amount of items. Our Babymel Changing Bag fitted comfortably under the seat with nappies, changing mat, bottles and food.

The Chicco London Pushchair went on the beach, gravel tracks in the countryside and throughout towns. It was great in all locations.

The Chicco London Pushchair is a fantastic pushchair and we have been surprised at how versatile, robust and easy it is to use. The Chicco London Pushchair is suitable from birth to 3 years and weighs just 7.2 kgs.

If you’re like me, being a first time parent is an exciting yet daunting time! There is so much you don’t know and not having any experience as a parent I found it incredibly helpful to read First Time Parentby Lucy Atkins.

This book is an informative, easy guide for everything you need to know about parenting and babies.

It covers topics from preparation for your new baby, to changing a nappies, eating, sleeping, childcare options and going back to work. A must read!

The Best Baby Sleeping Bag

| January 5, 2012

If you’re like me, you’ll be extra vigilant at night time to ensure your baby isn’t too hot or too cold. All the do’s and don’ts when it comes to sleeping and adding or taking off additional blankets just leaves me confused and worrying if my baby’s the right temperature.

Luckily, there’s a solution. I’ve discovered the best baby sleeping bags so I can sleep peacefully at night!

I’d always visualised my baby wrapped in blankets when sleeping, but once my baby started to move around in her baby cot I knew it was time to use Baby Sleeping Bags to keep her warm at night and to prevent blankets from covering her head.

Grobag Baby Sleep BagAll I can say is thank goodness for Baby Sleeping Bags! I absolutely love these, I can sleep easy knowing my baby’s warm and the covers won’t go over her head or be kicked off during the night.

I’m a complete and utter convert and use the lighter weight 1.0 tog in summer. My baby has a winter weight sleeping bag (I use 2.5 tog for winter so my baby’s room temperature should still be between 16 – 20 degrees celcius) and a summer weight sleeping bag suitable for spring, summer and autumn.
