Hand Knitted Baby Clothes
I just love this cute photo of Imogen when she was a baby. The expression of delight on her face as she’s sitting and dancing with her arms, it makes me giggle each time.
She’s wearing a hand knitted cardigan from her talented Great Grandmother. There’s something so unique about hand knitted baby clothes and babies look adorable in them.
If you don’t know someone who can knit your baby a handmade item of clothing there’s plenty of knitwear that looks just as good as Grandma’s hand knitted baby clothes.
You can buy these online at Liberty London Baby & Childrenswear, Joules Baby Clothing and John Lewis Baby & Toddlerwear. Some of my favourites are here:

John Lewis – Baby Cable Knit Cardigan

John Lewis – Baby Cable Knit Cardigan

John Lewis – Absorba Hooded Poncho

Joules – Baby Gretal Fair Isle Cardigan
These cardigans and jumpers can be bought online at Liberty London Baby & Childrenswear, Joules Baby Clothing and John Lewis Baby & Toddlerwear.

Holiday Memories from France
Winter’s approaching so I’ve found some photos to share with plenty of sunshine. Just looking back over these photographs evokes happy memories of sunny days.
In May this year we spent a week’s holiday in Brittany, France. It’s one of our favourite holiday destinations.
What do I love about Brittany? The slower pace of life, the friendly people, the stunning scenery, the local markets, French wine and the focus that’s placed on the importance of family.
Here are some of the amazing memories we have of Brittany’s beautiful environment and the fun we had together as a family.

Here’s a wonderful new book, in aid of the NSPCC. For each book sold a minimum of 67% of net royalty income is donated to the NSPCC.
It’s a delightful compilation of over 100 Big Questions from children aged 5 to 12 years old with answers to these challenging questions by some very Big People. Brilliant!
Compiled by Gemma Elwin Harris this excellent book provides answers to some of life’s big questions.
The answers come from renowned experts such as Sir David Attenborough, Bear Grylls, Dr Richard Dawkins, Kate Humble and Dame Jacqueline Wilson to name a few.
Every parent should have a copy of this book.
These questions are going to pop up and if you didn’t already know the answer to your child’s inquisitive question, you now can!
Every answer to every question is written simply and concisely, making it a joy to explain to your children.
Some of my favourite Big Questions from the book –
- Can a bee sting a bee?
- How are dreams made?

- Why is the sea salty?
- How do you fall in love?
