Owl Lover 2013 Calendar

| October 23, 2012

Owl Lover 2013 CalendarI stumbled across this beautiful Owl Lover 2013 Calendar when I was reading the inspiring blog by Oana Befort this morning.

Oana Befort has contributed her Owl art work for this project.

The idea and author behind the calendar is Shivani of My Owl Barn and is for all Owl Lovers and admirers of amazing art.

There are over 40 Owl pictures to choose from and you can personalise the calendar by selecting which picture you want for each month of the year.

This calendar will look lovely in a nursery or child’s bedroom and children will really enjoy selecting their favourite Owl pictures to make their own calendar.

I’ve had fun choosing and printing a selection of Owls and will be hanging the Owl Lover 2013 Calendar in Imogen’s bedroom so we can enjoy looking at the Owls. She adores Owls and says ‘coo coo’ every time she sees a picture of one!

Discover for yourself the stunning art work and download your free Owl Lover 2013 Calendar.

If you’re pressed for time here’s a pre-made Owl Lover 2013 Calendar.

This calendar makes a great gift for friends and family this Christmas.

Big Questions from Little People

Little People ask some very Big Questions!

Here’s a wonderful new book, in aid of the NSPCC. For each book sold a minimum of 67% of net royalty income is donated to the NSPCC.

It’s a delightful compilation of over 100 Big Questions from children aged 5 to 12 years old with answers to these challenging questions by some very Big People. Brilliant!

Compiled by Gemma Elwin Harris this excellent book provides answers to some of life’s big questions.

The answers come from renowned experts such as Sir David Attenborough, Bear Grylls, Dr Richard Dawkins, Kate Humble and Dame Jacqueline Wilson to name a few.

Every parent should have a copy of this book.

These questions are going to pop up and if you didn’t already know the answer to your child’s inquisitive question, you now can!

Every answer to every question is written simply and concisely, making it a joy to explain to your children.

Some of my favourite Big Questions from the book –

  • Can a bee sting a bee?
  • How are dreams made?
  • Why is the sky blue?
  • Why is the sea salty?
  • How do you fall in love?

Clarks Baby Shoes

Ida Chic in Raspberry Leather

I was brought up in Clarks children’s shoes so I have a special place in my heart for them.

I loved my Clarks Black Patent Leather Party Shoes. And Clarks still make them, all of these years later.

Oh what fun I can have buying shoes for my baby girl!

Imogen’s first pair of Clarks shoes were from their Pre-Walking Baby Shoe Range.

We bought her a pair of pre-walking shoes as soon as she started taking her first steps. We chose the Ida Chic in Raspberry which were a beautiful choice as the colour goes with everything and they look great worn with dresses or trousers.

We found these shoes were really helpful in helping her to cruise the furniture and for out and about when she’d done enough crawling and wanted to stand and take a few steps. Having more stability with these shoes helped to provide the confidence to take further steps. And within a few weeks she was walking by herself!

I found Clarks Pre-Walking Baby Shoes were perfect for at the park, to keep feet warm in cooler weather and to complete an outfit.

Clarks Baby Shoes

Clarks have a beautiful range of Baby Shoes for boys and girls. With everything from patent leather dress up shoes to good old wellies.
