Biona Organic Spelt Pasta with Spinach and Avocado

| September 29, 2013

I don’t like to eat too much wheat and try to keep it to only those times when I’m on the run and need to grab a quick sandwich. At home I buy Biona Organic Spelt Pastaand Biona Organic Rye Breadwhich Imogen and hubby both love, so we all enjoy the health benefits of eating spelt and less wheat. Spelt pasta is wholemeal and cooks in 5 minutes.

Last week I made Biona Organic Spelt Pastawith organic spinach and avocado. So simple. I just added a dash of pesto and a twist of ground pepper.

The finished product = wheat free, quick, healthy and delicious!

They’re also perfect for breakfast when you’re on the run.

Wood Wharf Farmers Market

| July 27, 2013

Last weekend we headed to the Wood Wharf Farmers Market located behind Canary Wharf. It was a beautifully sunny day and we enjoyed the ambiance of the market whilst watching the men’s and women’s volleyball teams and sampling some delicious food.

A Farmers Market in such an urban landscape was quite surreal.

The selection of organic vegetables from Wild Country Organics in Cambridge was delightful and so colourful. We bought some organic chilli peppers and tomatoes which tasted amazing and have been savoured in several meals this week.
